Danny

Danny Knighten - mandolin, vocals

Danny Knighten, from Saxapahaw, NC, started playing mandolin at age eleven, singing in churches and local functions with his older brother. Later, he performed with Kickin Grass, Solid Ground, Phatmen & Robin and Bluemont Road. A carpenter by trade, his true loves are his wife, Donna, and his two children, Sarah and Dylan. He's very involved in his local church family, which he loves only second to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. What draws Danny to bluegrass music are the tight harmonies and clean mandolin rifts.
